James M. Whitaker
Jim Whitaker is responsible for managing customer relationships for Midax as well as managing Midax business administration matters. Jim has over 40 years experience in the retail technology industry on both the operator and vendor side of the table. His deep grocery segment experience includes stints at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company plus an impressive 27 years as CIO of Giant Markets New York. Jim earned a degree in Retail Management and Marketing from the University of Maryland and maintains a keen interest in his chosen field by monitoring developing trends within the supermarket and C-store industries, and how they potentially affect business growth. When he is not on the clock for Midax, Jim likes to spend his time building wooden ship models.
