Pump Control
Midax Pump control that is entirely software-driven gives you ease of maintenance and functional upgrades in the years to come.
For the independent gas retailer, convenience store operator, or supermarket chain, the Midax Pump Control Module has multiple functions, which we integrate in whole or in part throughout all Midax interfaces to the pump. Midax currently supports any Gilbarco dispenser.
Midax Pump Control is an application that can control all activities of the pump. A convenience store could use this application unattended or could be integrated into any POS and the pump control mechanism.
In addition, it provides additional function for payment and loyalty
- It can manage gas discounting fed from a grocery store using Midax Loyalty.
- As well as credit card and cash acceptor processing, Midax offers additional payment methods:
- In house Gift card with optional discounting
- Multiple gift cards can be used in the same transaction
- Cash acceptor can be used to add dollars to the card
- Gift cards can be activated at the pump
- In house Scrip cards where discount gets sent to preferred school or church
- Multiple scrip cards can be used in the same transaction
- Cash acceptor can be used to add dollars to the card

- Prompting for vehicle and/or driver ID

Midax Pump Control can operate in branded or unbranded sites.
Midax Pump Control Module also controls price signage matching electronic signing to pump prices, keeping discrepancies in favor of the customer.
The Midax Pump Control Module also captures data from the Veeder Root to push into the Midax Data Warehouse for reporting. Pump data is consolidated with the POS sales data, movement data, time and attendance data and other data available are all combined into one common database for timely accurate reporting.
The Midax Pump Control Module is also part of the Midax PCI DSS compliant Switch application, so all processes that it supports are automatically part of the pump function under Midax, subject only to the hardware configuration of the pump.
