Midax, Inc. is a Virginia-based software development company focused on the retail technology and financial services segments. We are pioneers in building integrated EFT and loyalty solutions, dating back to 1998 when the company was founded by Jim Nevill. We bolstered our payment solutions portfolio in 2012 by achieving the coveted status of ACH certified processor, further contributing to our status as a recognized leader in providing creative turnkey and white label OEM closed loop payment solutions.

Midax was originally created to provide robust loyalty and coupon solutions to small chains and independent operators in the grocery and petroleum industries that allowed those operators to compete effectively with the larger chains. For almost two decades our solution suite has expanded to include more than a dozen unique offerings that appeal to larger multi-unit operators in all segments including: grocery, c-store, petroleum, and general retail.

Midax Open Wallet is the latest Midax offering that leverages most of our development efforts from the past decade. The mobile application combines Loyalty, Payment, POS integration, Location Based Services and Targeted Offers, and eCoupons providing the most powerful, integrated mobile solution available to the retail segment.

We continue to offer 24 x 7 x 365 world-class service and support to directly service the needs of independents, small chains, and large chains. Our service is one reason why we enjoy a customer retention rate in excess of 95%. The majority of Midax employees are involved in support and product development. Midax excels at delivering specialized integrations where we provide the glue and communication rails that enable multiple applications to function seamlessly and share data. No project is too challenging for our seasoned development team to consider – we pro-actively seek new development projects.

Midax distributes products through Direct, Indirect, and OEM channels. Our Direct Channel meets the needs of Multi-unit operators that wish to purchase solutions and services directly from Midax. Our Indirect Channel leverages the important relationships that exist between Merchants and the local Dealers or Managed Services Providers that offer personalized service and support. Our OEM channel is comprised of other retail technology companies and VAR’s that incorporate one of more modules of the comprehensive Midax solution suite into the solutions they offer through their own direct and indirect channels.
